What it's All About:
Well, you heard about the Triple Goddess, but have you heard about the Triple God? Because we live in a patriarchal society, we pagans emphasize more on the goddess than the god. So, I will balance things out on this show and talk about what it means for our spiritual lives when there is a male deity involved as well - because that's just how it goes sometimes!

Welcome to another episode of the Music From the Goddess’ Vault Podcast. I am your host, Midnight Starr. What you heard was a request from Angel on Twitter. They wanted me to play something from Faun, and I just played Golden Apple. I don’t mind you suggesting a song, but you can request a future show topic, I am running out of pagan themes to talk about. You can even request to re-air a past show. I am also still looking for spirit guides and dream symbols as well. The topic of today’s show is the Triple God. But first, if you haven’t done so already, you can check out the blog goddess vault one dot Wixsite dot com forward slash home. Also, please spread the word of this podcast through the blog, the Music From the Goddess’ Vault Facebook page, and on Instagram and Twitter at goddess vault. I am now on TikTok Midnight Starr 2. That is Midnight Starr (with two r’s) and the number 2. Now for the topic, the Triple God. We as pagans haven’t explored this aspect in great detail, and there is a reason why. We live in a patriarchal society where everything is still about men and masculinity. That is why in Wiccan we emphasize the Triple Goddess more. So in this podcast, I am going to balance things out and talk about the Triple God and what that means to us, Pagans. I am going to continue this episode with I Am the God/dess Devine by Lucidian.

You know about the Triple Goddess and what they represent. But is there a triple god?
This one was hard for me to research because there isn’t much information. But I noticed that the triple goddess is represented by the moon, while the triple god is represented by the sun. The symbol for the triple god is the same one that is of the horned god, who you know as Cernunnos. The term triple-god can be applied to deities from different cultures and religions. Still, it usually refers to a single Creator with three aspects or sometimes a triad of gods in which each member has its sphere or function. There are also three aspects of the triple god. But I want to talk about that later because there are many ways to interpret this. It depends on your belief system. There is also the Trimurti, which is the Indian version of the Triple God. But again, I will talk about this later. I just want to focus on the Triple God as a whole. I will talk about the different aspects of the Triple God. For now, let's listen to some more music: The God Song by Reclaiming Featuring Starhawk.

It’s time for another spirit guide of the week. I am going back to India to talk about the Hindu and Buddhist god Brahma. He is the creator of the world and every being in it. He made gods, ancestors, demons, and humans among the creatures he created. Brahma is also a preserver of the universe. He is also associated with knowledge and the Vedas. Brahma is the first god in the Trimurti, including Vishnu and Shiva. His consort is Saraswati. He was either born from a cosmic egg; or in a lotus that came from the body of Vishnu. That depends on the myth that you read. There is another myth that he created his children from his mind. Brahma is depicted with a red or gold complexion, a white beard, four heads, and hands. His four heads also represent the Vedas. Brahma is not as popular as Vishnu or Shiva, but he is still apart from the Trimurti. What you can offer Brahma on your altar is any of the following: water, fruit grain, oils, incense, and flowers. That is it for now. Stay tuned for another spirit guide of the week.

That was Creation by Michelle Mays. As mentioned before, we all know that the Triple Goddess represents the three phases of the moon and the life cycle of a woman’s life. What does the triple god represent? Well, he can be the Warrior, Father and Sage. Or Young God, Consort, and Dead God; Or Sun Child, Green, and Horned God; Or Page, Knight, and King; Or if you are Christopagan, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Just like the triple goddess, it's up to you how you view the triple god. So, you now have a bit of a balance. Here’s Parnassus with God & Goddess in Blue number seven.

Here's another dream symbol to interpret. There is only one symbol this week, and that one is fire. Fire in dreams usually represent passion, illumination, destruction, purification, enlightenment, transformation, anger, or desire. If you had a dream that you are being burned in a fire means that you have anger that is out of control. To dream that, you are setting fire to an item or yourself, its telling you that you are under lots of stress, and you need help. If you had a dream that your house is on fire, it represents a transformation that you need to go into. If your family house on fire is a recurring dream, it indicates that you are not willing to change. However, if you had a dream that you started a fire means that you have problems expressing yourself and repressing your anger. To dream that you are not afraid of fire, its telling you that you have everything under control in one area of your life. If you see fire circling around you and someone that you know, represents the bond between the two of you. And if you had a dream that you were the one who put out the fire, that means that with a lot of work, you overcame many roadblocks. If you want a dream symbol to interpret and maybe have a dream symbol featured; the contact information will be mentioned at the end of this show. So keep dreaming.
