What it's All About:
The tree of life is the most widespread symbol of life on earth. It serves as a metaphor for both the expansion of life and its protection. It also represents how all living things are intertwined. Along with being a representation of peace and harmony, the tree of life also represents hope and optimism. The tree of life is a potent representation of humanity because it shows our interconnectedness, reliance on one another for survival, and mutual dependence. I will talk about this more in the podcast.

It's a pretty big deal, and you might not have heard of it, so I’ll give you the short version right now. This is a universal symbol and I’ll explain what it means later. I’ll give you some of the cultural references to the Tree of Life, since this is a worldwide symbol. But before we get to that, let me play you some Faun: Walpurgisnacht. I hope that I pronounced that right.

The Tree of Life, also called the World Tree or Tree of Knowledge, is a symbol found all over the world. What it means differs depending on the culture. But they do have a few things in common. They hold a mystical connection to both the physical and spiritual realms and support all life. The tree of life also represents:
Family and ancestors (As in the term family tree)
self growth
oneness and connection
Prosperity
Groundedness
The cycle of life
Adaptability
High Wisdom
Individuality
And Abundance.
I won’t give you every culture’s tree of life mythology because that would take up too much time. But here are a few. Starting with the Norse and the Yggdrasil Tree.It is said to contain universal wisdom and other cosmic forces. The tree grew out of the Urd well. The roots and branches of the Yggdrasil is where you find the Nine Worlds of the cosmos. The two residents in the Yggdrasil were an eagle with the wisdom of Odin and a hawk who was a messenger. Some of you might know that the Norse God Odin risked a lot to get the knowledge in the Yggdrasil, including losing an eye and almost dying. Did you know that the Ancient Celts also had a tree of life? They saw the tree as being a sacred symbol. Each of them had their own mystical power. The Celts believed that their ancestors became trees after they died. They saw the tree as a representation of the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. The Celtic Tree of Life was connected to the underworld at its roots. The physical world was the tree’s trunk, with branches reaching up to the heavens. Oh, this reminds me of another culture’s myth. That comes from Hungary’s ancient Magyar people. Their Tree of life myth is similar to the Celts. That tree’s got three different parts to it. I don’t mean to sound J.R.R. Tolken here. The branches of the tree are the upper world, the trunk is the middle, and the roots are the lower world or the underground. In the upper world of the branches sits the Turul bird, which is Hungary’s mystical hawk. And we have Egypt. Their Tree of Life mythology goes back to 3150 BC. Or it could be earlier, who knows? In this myth, after the creation of the world, Geb the Earth god and Nut the sky goddess gave birth first to Osiris, Set, Isis, and Nephthys. You already know about the story of Isis and Osiris. I don’t know which one this part of the story is, it could be the first or second. But you know that Osiris’ coffin drifts down the Nile and to the sea, washing up on the coast of Phoenicia. What this has to do with the tree of life is that Osiris’ coffin was then lodged into the trunk of a huge sycamore tree. If you have a myth with the Tree of Life in it, please let me know.
Let’s take a break and play Omnia’s Old Man Tree.

It's time for another spirit guide of the week. The Celtic g)
That was another song by OMNIA called Epona. The tree of life is the most widespread symbol of life on earth. It is a symbol of both the development of life and its preservation. It is also a symbol of the interconnectedness of all living things. The tree of life is an ancient symbol that represents the interconnectedness and diversity of life on earth. It represents the diversity and complexity of the world's plants and animals. It also represents the interconnectedness between all living things. The tree of life is also a symbol for hope and optimism, as well as for peace and harmony. It is a powerful symbol for humanity because it shows us how connected we are to each other, how much we depend upon each other for our survival, and how much we need each other to survive. It also shows us that we can learn from each other's experiences and grow from them, so that we can become better people who can thrive in this world. Many mythology and traditions have the tree of life as an archetype. In the pagan traditions, we see trees as sacred symbols. I mean, we do rituals that take place outside around them. The tree is a part of our wheel of the year. We have the myth of the Oak King being born in the winter, and the Holy King being born in the spring. We view trees as having magical power. I’m talking about how, for most of them, the leaves come out in the spring. During the summer, they’re all green and plentiful. Some of them will bear fruit. In the fall, the leaves on the trees turn red, orange, and yellow before falling off and dying. The leaves do this so they can regenerate and start the cycle anew. That’s how magical trees are. This includes the roots, the trunk, and the branches with their symbology. Trees are a symbol of our paths and are a part of the web of life. The tree of life is a symbol that is present worldwide because they are found all over the earth. Here’s Mama Gina with Grandmother Tree.

Here's another dream symbol to interpret. There are three symbols again: Cage, Cake, and Camera. A dream in which you were in a cage suggests that you are feeling restricted and helpless in certain aspects of your life. If you see a bird in a cage in your dream, it may be a sign that you are experiencing abrupt loss of independence and expression restrictions. If you place a wild animal in a cage in your dream, you will triumph over your enemies and anxieties. Cake in dreams typically represents the necessity to learn to share and manage your workload rather than attempting to achieve everything on your own. Dreaming that you were purchasing a cake denotes that you have accepted the accolades and prizes you have earned for your efforts. If you encounter a cake that is only partially eaten in your dreams, it represents squandered and lost possibilities. Cameras in dreams typically represent your wish to hold on to the past or live there. Having trouble finding your camera in your dreams suggests that you are not paying attention to the situation at hand. A dream in which you saw yourself on a hidden camera denotes that you are feeling under scrutiny. And a broken camera in your dream means that you are avoiding a problem or refusing to see the broader picture. If you want a dream symbol to interpret and maybe have a dream symbol featured, I will mention the contact information at the end of this show. So keep dreaming.
