What it's All About:

Paganism has a strong focus on the feminine, but there’s a growing need for spaces where men can find community and authentic spiritual connection. For the women listening, understanding these groups can help you better support the men in your life and see a different side of our faith.

This episode is every who want to understand the masculine energy in our faith. I’ll be discussing why community is so important, the unique challenges men face, and how these groups can provide a safe place for growth. Join me as I talk about the magic that happens when like-minded men come together.

Now for the topic: Pagan Men’s Groups: Finding Community and Support. You might remember a show I did years ago about the masculine side of being a pagan. This time, I want to talk specifically about community. This time, I want to talk specifically about the vital role of community.

I’ll get into that more after you hear this classic from Emerald Rose: Tree Huggin Man.

You might remember a show I did a few years ago about the masculine side of being a pagan. This time, I want to talk specifically about the vital role of community.

Paganism often focuses on the feminine, but there's a real need for spaces where men can connect with each other. For the women listening, understanding these groups can help you better support the men in your life and see a different side of our faith. For the men, you may have felt like a lone wolf on your path, and this can be a difficult feeling.

That's where men's groups come in. They’re a place where men can find emotional support. It’s a safe space to share feelings and challenges without judgment. These groups also foster spiritual growth. They offer a place to connect with the masculine divine and explore deities like the Horned God or others. Finally, they provide a place for practical skills. That can mean things like ritual work or even mundane skills like knot tying and woodworking. These groups can create a space for real growth and fellowship for everyone involved.

Time for another musical break with the song The Wicker Man by Damh the Bard.

Time for another Spirit Guide of the Week.

This week, we're going back to the ancient Celts to talk about the god Herne.

Now, Herne is a figure of English folklore. He’s mainly associated with Windsor Forest. He might not be a major ancient god, but he is a powerful spirit of the wild. His story is rooted in English legend.

The legend says he's a royal hunter with massive antlers. He leads the Wild Hunt, which is a spectral procession of ghostly hunters and hounds. He acts as a guardian of the forest and embodies a raw, powerful wild masculine energy.

This powerful spirit is the ultimate symbol of brotherhood rooted in the wild.

He represents the wild, untamed aspects of masculinity and answers the call of the forest. As a leader of his own band of hunters, he embodies a figure of leadership and community. He represents connecting with your primal, authentic self and finding a powerful sense of belonging in nature.

Call upon Herne to help you find your community and connect deeply with the wild.

That is it for now. Stay tuned for another spirit guide of the week.

hat was Hymn to Herne by Alexander James Adams.

So, I've talked about why men's groups are so vital. Now I'll get into the practical steps. How do you actually find one of these groups?

The easiest starting point is online, with social media being the best tool. I recommend searching for keywords like "pagan men's group" or "local pagan community" using your city name. Social media groups and forums are often where these connections are made. You can also do a search online. But don't ignore your local community. Your metaphysical shops and pagan-friendly events are often the best places to ask about groups.

Now, what if you can't find one? Start your own! This doesn't have to be complicated. You don't need a huge budget or a perfect ritual space. It can be as simple as three people meeting for coffee or a beer once a month.

When you start, focus on a clear purpose. Are you a book club, a ritual group, or a discussion circle? Decide that upfront. And most importantly, offer simple ground rules from the beginning. Things like confidentiality and mutual respect are key to creating that safe space.

Finally, to my female listeners: supporting these groups helps the men in your life find the support they need. When men feel seen and heard in their spirituality, it creates a more whole and balanced person. By understanding and supporting this work, you are all helping to build a more supportive and balanced pagan community for everyone.

It’s music time again. This one’s from Faun and it’s called Nechein Man.

Here's another dream symbol to interpret.

These are the three: Mascot, Memory, and Men.

Let's start with Mascot. Dreaming of a mascot suggests there is a part of your personality you feel requires some work or attention.

Dreaming that you are wearing the mascot costume means you might be afraid to show your authentic self.

If that mascot is a bird, it implies a desire to be more free.

If it’s a dog, it means you should work on your social skills.

Next is Memory

If a memory appears in your dream, it often signals that you are ready for a transformation and are prepared to leave old habits behind.

Recalling a difficult memory in a dream may be less of a shock than if you recalled it while you’re awake.

If your memory is being erased in the dream, it's a powerful signal that you need to release the past to advance in your life.

And finally, Men.

Seeing men in your dreams can symbolize someone in a position of authority or a specific father figure.

If you are a woman and dream of a room filled with men, your subconscious may be emphasizing the masculine aspect of your personality.

For a man, dreaming of an all-male party can mean you are doubting your capabilities and should focus on strengthening your self-confidence.

If you want a dream symbol to interpret and maybe have a dream symbol featured, I will mention the contact information at the end of this show. So keep dreaming.
