Being single as a Pagan today is different from what it was 20 years ago. Back then, you wouldn’t dream of mentioning that you’re a witch on a first date. But nowadays, it’s more accepted. I think this shift has a lot to do with changing attitudes and the internet. Still, you’ll occasionally encounter some crazy reactions—I know I have. That said, Pagan dating sites exist, but they're essentially like any other dating platform. Ultimately, meeting someone in person, perhaps at a ritual or festival, is often more fruitful. Even with the allure of spells or divination, finding love still requires effort. You can't simply wish for your perfect partner to appear. It takes dedication and proactive steps. I'll go deeper into this topic after you listen to Belle Dame Sans Merci by Faun.

Time for another Spirit Guide of the Week. I'm going to the Netherlands to talk about Nehalennia, a goddess of uncertain Celtic or Germanic origin. Primarily associated with wealth and commerce, she was particularly important to coastal communities. Her temple was a significant site of worship. Nehalennia is often depicted as a young woman sitting beside a big loyal dog, typically holding a basket filled with apples or bread, symbols of abundance. Her worship dates back to the second century BC, making her a significant figure in the region's history. Known as the goddess of wealth and commerce, Nehalennia was particularly important to the local tribe, who relied on the sea for their livelihoods. Her temple, a significant site of worship. Nehalennia’s shrine was discovered in 1970 by a fisherman in the North Sea in the Netherlands. And still being discussed among academics to this very day. She’s either a Celtic or Germanic goddess. Her origins are unknown. However, her temple was submerged in the North Sea until 1970. That is it for now. Stay tuned for another spirit guide of the week.

That was Avalon Rising with Do You Love an Apple? Paganism is a beautiful path, but finding love? Well, that's a universal quest. Whether you're casting spells or swiping right, we're all looking for connection. Let's talk about the challenges and triumphs of navigating the dating world as a modern pagan. But let's not forget the incredible rewards of finding that special someone who shares your beliefs. Imagine connecting with someone on a deep, spiritual level. Sharing rituals, celebrating the seasons together, and building a life based on shared values is truly magical. Of course, many of us find love with amazing partners who don't share our exact beliefs. It's about finding someone who respects your path, even if they don't fully understand it. It takes open-mindedness, communication, and a willingness to find common ground. Whether you're seeking a partner who shares your pagan path or are open to exploring a relationship with someone from a different spiritual background, it's essential to focus on finding someone who supports your personal growth and happiness. Open communication, mutual respect, and shared values are key to building a lasting connection. Instead of relying on magic to find love, let's focus on practical steps. Building self-confidence, expanding your social circle, and actively seeking opportunities to meet new people can significantly increase your chances of finding a compatible partner. Remember, finding love is a journey, not a destination. Be patient, kind to yourself, and open to new experiences. Whether you find your soulmate at a ritual or on a dating app, the most important thing is to stay true to yourself and enjoy the process. Have you had any experiences dating as a pagan? Share your thoughts and challenges in the comments below. The next song that I am going to play for you is With Love in Your Heart by Gayla Soldano

Here's another dream symbol to interpret. These are the three: Journey, Jug, and Jumpsuit. Dreaming about a journey can symbolize financial gain, personal growth, or advancement. If you dream about a friend going on a journey, it could mean that good and positive changes are coming your way. Dreaming of the band Journey might suggest that their music holds personal significance or relevance to your current life. Seeing jugs in a dream might be connected to ideas of purity, restraint, or chastity. A dream of a milk-filled jug can symbolize nurturing qualities or inherent strength. Dreaming of an empty jug might suggests a sense of emptiness or incompleteness in your life. A broken or cracked jug in a dream might symbolize a breach of trust or betrayal. If you dream of wearing a jumpsuit, it could indicate a loss of self-control or a struggle to define yourself. Wearing a racing jumpsuit in a dream might signify feeling overwhelmed by a hectic lifestyle. Dreaming of wearing a skydiving jumpsuit might symbolize a feeling of losing direction or control in life. And wearing a prison jumpsuit in a dream might symbolize feeling trapped or restricted in a personal relationship or life circumstance. If you want a dream symbol to interpret and maybe have a dream symbol featured, I will mention the contact information at the end of this show. So keep dreaming.
