Hey everyone, just wanted to clarify something from this episode. As I was editing this, I mistakenly called the sun and the moon planets. They're not, but they're crucial parts of the universe, especially in the context of Cosmic Witchcraft.

Welcome to another episode of the Music from the Goddess’ Vault Podcast. I am your host, Midnight Star. You just heard Cosmic Harmony by Gothica. The topic of today’s show is all about Cosmic Witchcraft. Before we get started with today's episode, I have a few quick updates and exciting announcements to share with all of you. Have you taken a moment to participate in either of my polls yet? I've got not just one, but two waiting for your input. The first one is about choosing a new logo for the show, and your votes will decide the winner! Here's the deal: The winning logo must maintain its position for three consecutive months to become the new face of this podcast. Your votes hold the power. You can access the links in the show notes or simply scan the QR codes on the blog and Substack page. Now, onto the second poll. You have the chance to vote for which past episode I bring back to listen to again. It's as simple as following the links and making your choice.  Remember, these polls are open for just a month, so be sure to act quickly! I'm excited to extend an invitation for you to subscribe to my newsletter at musicgoddessvault.substack.com. You have the option to choose between the $7 monthly plan, the $70 yearly plan, or the free membership. Join me and stay connected! Do you have any ideas for what we should talk about next on the show? If you do, feel free to reach out to me on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, Mastodon, Threads, visit my blog at goddessvault1.wixsite.com/home, or now on bluesky. I'm really looking forward to hearing from you. Now for the topic: Cosmic Witchcraft. When I start a new episode for my podcast, I usually write out the script first. Today, it's the first day, and I'm not sure yet what topics I'll cover later, including this one. I'm exploring whether it's related to paganism or if it's something everyone should know about. We’ll find out after you hear a new song from Willow Wynd called Our Universe.

Cosmic Witchcraft, also known as Star Witchcraft, involves working with the energies of celestial bodies such as stars, the moon, planets, and astrology. Practitioners of this craft create rituals and spells at specific times, aligning them with planetary movements and moon phases. You might have seen fellow pagans discussing or teaching about performing spells on certain days and times, both in person and on social media. This practice is rooted in the belief that the energies of the universe influence our lives. For a Cosmic Witch, the movement of planets and stars affects everything, even our moods. You've probably also heard the phrase "As above, so below," which ties into this concept. Pagans believe that everything is interconnected—the earth, animals, trees, and even the universe. That is what Cosmic Witchcraft is all about. To become a Cosmic Witch, one needs to study astrology. However, learning astrology can be complex and overwhelming for some, including myself. This is just in my opinion. I’ll go into how to become a Cosmic Witch after you listen to this classic from Wendy Rule: As Above, So Below.

It's time for another Spirit Guide of the Week. I’m once again, back in Ancient Greece to talk about the god Helios. He brings light in both real and symbolic ways, since he is the sun god. However, he was replaced by Apollo as time went on. Nonetheless, Helios, does see all and knows all. He witnesses crimes occurring during the day, while Hekate fulfills a similar role at night. Nevertheless, the connection between Helios and Hekate remains a mystery. She could be a cousin or another descendant, or she might hold the position of Perse (the actual name of Helios's wife). The interpretation varies depending on the source you read.

He plays a role in the story of Persephone and Demeter. After Hekate shares what she heard regarding Persephone's disappearance with Demeter, she brings her to Helios. He then reveals all the details to them about what he saw. And there's no evidence remaining to show how Helios came to be revered in Greece. There aren't many historical records regarding offerings dedicated to Helios. But back in Ancient times, As a way to honor him, the Greeks held gymnastic competitions. That is it for now. Stay tuned for another Spirit Guide of the Week.

That was Birth of the Sun by Dark Moor. To become a Cosmic Witch, first, you need to be interested in Astronomy. This involves being someone who has always looked up at the stars and learned about the planets since childhood. Of course, before becoming a Cosmic Witch, it's important to learn about paganism. I share this message with all who are interested, whether you're already on the path or considering it for the first time. Next, it's important to learn meditation. As pagans, we often interact with energy, which is vital for how the universe operates. That's why it's important to learn grounding techniques and how to work with these energies. You don't necessarily have to do this next step, which is to pick a deity that represents a planet or something to do with the universe. This can be any deity aside from Ancient Greek, Roman, or Egyptian. It can be from the Aztecs or the Mayan or others. You have to keep in mind that before Science took over the world, all of our ancestors had to personify everything in the universe - the moon, the sky, the sun, etc. If you don’t want to worship a god, but you still want to be a Cosmic Witch, that’s not a problem either. Another aspect, which I mentioned earlier, and is not highly necessary, is studying Astrology. You should have some understanding of space in order to learn about this. This way, you can explore the position of planets in specific zodiac signs and houses. This is the main form of divination for some Cosmic Witches. Again, if you don’t want to do Astrology, and that’s fine. When performing rituals and spells, it's important to choose the right time, especially for something like a money spell. One method involves associating planets with days of the week. For instance, Saturn is linked to Saturday, the Sun to Sunday, and the Moon to Monday. You'll need to find out which planets match the other days by yourself. This also true if you want to associate a cosmic deity with any of the days of the week.

Before I go on, I want to mention another path called Lunar witchcraft. This one focuses more on the moon's cycles. This is different from Cosmic Witchcraft, which goes beyond that. If you're interested in learning more about Cosmic Witchcraft, there's a wealth of information available online. There are even books about it on that you can buy on Amazon. I might even have a link to one of them in the show notes. Now, let's continue with more music: Derek Schmidt with the Universe.

Here's another dream symbol to interpret. Today they are lap, laugh, and lawn. Dreaming of seeing your lap suggests the presence of either opportunities or challenges. If in your dream, you find yourself seated on another person’s lap; it symbolizes your quest for steadiness and protection. If you dreamt of holding someone on your lap, it indicates your nurturing and supportive demeanor. Dreaming of hearing laughter or laughing yourself indicates the need to relax and to let go of your worries. To dream that people are laughing at you may mean you're worried about not being accepted or feeling insecure. If you dream of hearing evil and demonic laughter, it might signify feelings of embarrassment or powerlessness. If you see a green lawn in your dream, it symbolizes hope, joy, and good health. If you dreamt of a lawn that's messy and full of weeds, it could mean you're neglecting to look after yourself. And dreaming about a lawn that's dead or brown may mean you're not happy with something at home. If you want a dream symbol to interpret and maybe have a dream symbol featured, I will mention the contact information at the end of this show. So keep dreaming.

Here’s another myth. Here’s another one from WorldofTales.com. Its an Australian fable called Bahloo the moon and Daens.

I am not going even pronounce the name of that last song, but it is by SKALD. Before that, you heard Faith and the Muse with And Laugh, But Smile No More. That is it for this show. Again, I am your host, Midnight Starr. You know that currently, there are two polls underway, and I'm eager to hear your thoughts. Join me in shaping the direction by casting your vote! I'm on the hunt for a new logo and I need your help to choose the perfect one. To check out the options, head to the show notes for the links, or easily scan the QR codes on my blog and Substack page. After the votes have been counted, I'll reveal the winning logo. But here's the exciting part: it'll compete against four new contenders. I'm counting on the logo that resonates most with you to represent the new face of the Music from the Goddess’ Vault Podcast. The chosen design will enter a three-month showdown. If it comes out on top, it'll be declared the ultimate winner. Now for revisiting one of my earlier episodes with my second poll. You can still participate the same way – by checking the links in the show notes or scanning the QR code on my blog and Substack. And don't forget, this poll will remain open for a bit longer than the first one I mentioned. You've got an entire month to make your selections. So don’t hesitate to do so! Got any show topics, spirit guides, or dream symbols you're itching for me to discuss?
